Clearly explained – from your first enquiry to a booking, rental, order or payment.
The controller is the sole proprietorship Daniel Schmid, trading as Snowboardschule Sägerei: Via Alpsu 97, 7188 Sedrun, Switzerland, UID CHE-104.379.176. You can contact us at snowboardschule@saegerei.ch or +41 81 949 20 21.
This privacy notice applies to saegerei.ch and the related services of Snowboard School Sägerei: lessons, events, rentals, servicing, the shop, bookings, orders and payments.
We process personal data under the Swiss Data Protection Act. Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, processing is based in particular on steps taken before entering into a contract or performance of a contract, legal obligations, legitimate interests or consent. Consent may be withdrawn at any time for the future.
The information involved depends on the services you use. We limit processing to data needed for the particular purpose.
For a booking, we record the person making the booking and, where necessary, each participant separately. This allows several children or adults to be organised in one booking even when they attend different lessons.
A minor must be registered by a parent, legal guardian or duly authorised person. We do not use children’s data for personalised advertising or profiling.
We request health information or details of special requirements only where needed for safe instruction or appropriate support. Where applicable law requires explicit consent, we request it separately.
For direct bookings we use Flowin, a service provided by Solved Development GmbH, Wylerstrasse 51, 3014 Bern, Switzerland. The booking module is embedded in our website. When it loads, technically necessary information such as IP address, browser, device, time and the page accessed may already be transmitted to Flowin.
During the booking process, Flowin processes the information required for availability, conclusion of the contract, payment, performance and customer care. This may include details of the booking person and participants, selected services, dates, prices and special requirements. Flowin transmits the information required for payment processing to Wallee.
Equipment rental may be handled through a separate specialist system. We identify the relevant provider and provide additional privacy information no later than the point at which data is transferred to that system.
When you make a purchase, we process contact, order, billing and delivery details to fulfil the contract, dispatch goods, handle returns or complaints and meet statutory accounting duties.
We provide postal, courier or logistics companies with the recipient and shipping details needed for delivery. We carry out a credit check only where required for the selected payment method and permitted by law, and will inform you beforehand.
Online payments for lessons, rentals, servicing, events or goods are processed through Wallee Group AG, Neuwiesenstrasse 15, 8400 Winterthur, Switzerland. Wallee provides the technical payment platform and, depending on the selected payment method, involves additional payment service providers, acquirers, banks or card schemes.
During payment, information including your name, contact details, billing address, order or booking data, amount, currency, selected payment method, IP address, and technical and transaction data is transmitted to Wallee and the parties required for the chosen payment method. Processing is necessary for payment execution, authentication, fraud and abuse prevention, refunds, chargeback handling, and statutory evidence and retention duties.
Complete card details or online banking credentials are generally entered directly in the protected payment environment and are not disclosed to us in full. We receive information including the payment method, amount, payment status, transaction reference and details of refunds or chargebacks.
Wallee processes data under the data protection arrangements agreed with us and, where necessary for regulatory duties, fraud prevention or payment execution, partly as an independent controller.
When you access the website, the hosting provider processes technical log data. This is necessary to deliver the site, identify faults and prevent attacks.
We currently use no analytics or marketing trackers. Strictly necessary cookies or similar storage may be used for security, language settings, the basket, booking flow or sign-in. Optional services are activated only after valid consent, which can be withdrawn just as easily.
The shop page embeds an OpenStreetMap map. When it loads, the map provider may receive technical data such as your IP address, browser information and access time. Its own privacy terms also apply to this processing.
Links to Google Maps, brands or other external services connect to the respective provider only when clicked.
We disclose data only where needed to provide a service, comply with a legal obligation or protect legitimate interests. Recipients may include hosting, IT, security and support providers; booking, rental and communication systems; payment services and banks; shipping providers; accountants, insurers, legal advisers and public authorities.
Service providers processing data on our behalf are contractually required to protect confidentiality, data security and purpose limitation. Where required, we enter into data processing agreements. Wallee, banks, acquirers or card schemes may also process data as independent controllers for individual payment steps.
We favour providers in Switzerland or the European Economic Area. Wallee processes payment data in particular in Switzerland and countries of the European Union; depending on the payment method, Wallee, participating financial institutions or their subprocessors may also process data in other countries.
Where a country does not provide adequate legal protection, we use appropriate safeguards, in particular recognised standard contractual clauses and additional measures where necessary, or rely on a statutory exception.
We retain data only for as long as needed for the service, contract, security, evidence or legal obligations. It is then deleted or anonymised.
Swiss requirements generally oblige us to retain business, booking and payment records for ten years. Enquiries that are no longer needed and technical logs are deleted sooner unless legitimate reasons require longer retention.
We protect personal data through appropriate technical and organisational measures, including access controls, encrypted transmission, updates, backups and carefully selected service providers.
Sending data by email is never entirely risk-free. Please submit particularly sensitive details only through the secure channels provided for that purpose.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data, object to processing and withdraw consent. Statutory duties and overriding legitimate interests may limit individual rights.
Fields marked as required are needed to handle an enquiry, booking, rental, order or payment. Optional fields may be left empty, although this may prevent us from accommodating a particular request.
We currently make no solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects for you.
We update this notice when our services, systems, providers or applicable law change. The version published on this website applies. We will highlight material changes in an appropriate place.
